Family
Therapy
Families can end up stuck when communicating and may find benefits from having an outside party moderating discussion to reach more productive outcomes. Family therapy may help identify positives, highlighting for the group what's going right if these aspects are being missed.
Many different relational shifts within a family system will cause someone to seek support for the family together (and/or separately) in order to work through the complicated feelings or shift in dynamics that could result from whatever is bringing up that change.
During family therapy we can work on understanding through compassion, listening to one another and showing up fully to the best of our ability. There is safe space for all parties to bring actions/reactions and attempt to guide any shifts of perspective once everyone's concerns are seen and heard more clearly, affirming one another's presence. As your therapist, I serve as a calm and gentle moderating presence, ideally prompting healthy and fruitful discussion.
